    PRODUCT:

    Remedy AR System Server

    COMPONENT:

    ITSM In-App Reporting

    APPLIES TO:

BMC Remedy Smart Reporting 9.1 SP3 Patch 1

    PROBLEM:

When we apply Patch 1 or SR_9103_20170804_CU_ALL  on top of 9.01.03 we will see an issue where Smart Reporting is not honoring the query filters for users that do not have Remedy Admin permission.

Create a test report that just pulls Incident Number for filters Owner Group = IT Process Solutions and Status is less than Resolved,

For users that do not have Remedy Admin permission they will see data for all Incidents regardless of status or owner group.
But If we give person "Remedy" Admin permission - then the report returns correct/filtered results.

    SOLUTION:

This defect is introduce by hotfix SR_9103_20170804_CU_ALL and also exist is the latest AR System 9.01.03 Patch 001.

    [A] If it is 9.1.03 + Hot-Fix: SR_9103_20170804_CU_ALL then apply 9.1 SP3 patch1 first and then apply the provided Hotfix SR_9103P1_20170908_CU_ALL
