Smart reporting 9.1
- Smart Reporting upgrade installer stuck with the below error:
Not able to connect smart reporting server make sure the server is running and reachable during upgrade.
- SSL enabled environment.
- The above error occurs when installer is unable to connect to the Smart Reporting tomcat when SSL is enabled.
- Disable the SSL in Server.xml located at appserver/conf folder.
- Remove the the below parameter in the web.xml file and save it.
--> <security-constraint> <web-resource-collection> <web-resource-name>Automatic SSL Forwarding</web-resource-name> <url-pattern>/*</url-pattern> </web-resource-collection> <user-data-constraint> <transport-guarantee> CONFIDENTIAL </transport-guarantee> </user-data-constraint> </security-constraint>The file is located at the below path: <Install Dir\BMC Software\ARSystem\SmartReporting\appserver\webapps\ROOT\WEB-INF. Run the upgrade installer and it should work successfully.
