The notification bell doesn't appear to be working within Digital Workplace ?

    QUESTION:

    After upgrading from MyIT 3.0 to MyIT 3.3.00 the notification bell is not working properly. When you have a notification for an approval or update it does not show on in the bell. 


    ANSWER:

    The "master.server=true" parameter should be commented out from the "connect.properties" file (apache external-conf directory) in a single DWP Server environment. However, if running DWP in a cluster this flag should be set to true whereas on the Secondary it should be set to false. Once this is done the MyIT/SmartIT Application Tomcat Service should be restarted.
