ADDM: When opening Administration > Time Synchronization, error "This Appliance is having technical difficulties with this page"

    PROBLEM:

    When opening Administration > Time Synchronization, error "This Appliance is having technical difficulties with this page"

    The error message in the log is:

    SOLUTION:

    The /etc/ntp.conf file is quite different from the default file provided with the appliance. Someone has made manual changes to the file, which is not supported. 

    The workaround is to upload a default copy of the file from an unmodified appliance.
