Oracle deep database discovery does not find database details

    PROBLEM:

     

    Oracle deep database discovery does not find database details. The message is "Providers are registered for type ‘SQL’ but none could successfully handle this request ". The credential test does succeed.

    Issue Summary: Unable to discover inside Oracle DB to gather Schema information
     

     


    SOLUTION:

     

    Legacy ID:KA344568

      

    The target is an Oracle 10g database. Requested thecustomer upload the ojdbc14.jar driver and restart the tideway service, as per online documentation. The scan now finds the database details.
