    PROBLEM:

     

    Symptoms
      A CI of a custom class is not being published. The publishing server request log shows 'BMC-IPS010138E Removing component of non SIM class from published service model.'
     
    Applies To
      BMC ProactiveNet Performance Management version 9.0.xx, 9.5.xx, 9.6.xx

     

     


    SOLUTION:

    Cause
      The custom class is not SIM enabled. 

      

    Solution
      1. In CMDB Console Class Manager, modify the custom class so that custom properties is set to:
     
      1\100050\2\1\
     
      2. Run command:
     
      pclassinfo -q -x -o mc_sm_object.baroc
     
      3. Place the generated file mc_sm_object.baroc in the pw\server\etc\<cell>\kb\classes directory.
     
      4. Restart the cell.
     
      5. Perform a publish.
