    Creating report on Report Console, AR System displays ARERR 90

    LP: BMC Remedy AR System Server 7.6.04
    DR: AR System Mid Tier 7.6.04

    Legacy ID:KA371759

    Refer to knowledge article KA364898 - 'How to turn off/on arjavaplugin logging?' and set the log level for ar java plugin (ARSYS.ARDBC.ARREPORTENGINE) to Debug....collect log.

    In armonitor.cfg
    "E:\Applications\Java\jre6\bin\java" -Xmx512m -classpath "C:\Program Files\BMC Software\ARSystem\pluginsvr;C:\Program Files\BMC Software\ARSystem\pluginsvr\arpluginsvr7604_build002.jar" com.bmc.arsys.pluginsvr.ARPluginServerMain -x WIN-BC8YD4GTB8K -i "C:\Program Files\BMC Software\ARSystem" -m

    So ar java plugin is refering Server Name as "WIN-BC8YD4GTB8K".

    In ar.cfg
    Server-Connect-Name: jps00003192

    Neither Server-Name or Server-Connect-Name is refering to "WIN-BC8YD4GTB8K".

    In arjavaplugin.log
    2012-05-21 15:58:32,612 ERROR [pool-2-thread-5] com.bmc.arsys.apitransport.connection.b (?:?) - Connects to WIN-BC8YD4GTB8K:39456 through Java Rpc failed with: ERROR (90): AR System Server

    We can see java plugin is trying to connect to Server WIN-BC8YD4GTB8K.
    So you need either to fix the -x value in armonitor.cfg or change the Server-Name value in ar.cfg.

    In armonitor.cfg
    WIN-BC8YD4GTB8K ==>
    After the above change, restart the AR Server service to fix this error.
