    SOLUTION:

    Legacy ID:KA397462

    Cause:

This error is caused if the entry with the dataset ID of BMC.ASSET does not exist on the Cloud AR server.

    Solution:

To confirm if the dataset ID of BMC.ASSET does not exist, open the BMC_ServiceOffering form on the Cloud AR server and search for the Reconciliation ID. If only one entry is returned with the dataset ID of BMC.IMPORT.ENTERPRISE, then the BMC CSM ENT Data Reconciliation job is not running.

This can be check by looking at the Reconciliation Job Runs form on the Cloud AR server. We should see this job running every few minutes. If the last time it ran was some time ago then this job will need to be restarted.

To start the reconciliation job, delete entries older than a week (or even better just a day or two) from the Reconciliation Job Runs form. (Check KA369060 - kb.bmc.com/infocenter/index for deleting these records)

Once cleared out the Job Runs, access the reconciliation manager:

    1. Open up the CMDB:Console on Cloud or ITSM AR (depending on what server you want to check reconciliation on)
    2. Select the Reconciliation Manager tab
    3. Select Job History from left hand side
    4. Select BMC CSM ENT Data Reconciliation

If there are too many Job Runs entries then the console will hang here. If they have been cleared out enough to see the history then just clicking Start Job will start the job running again. If this fails, then maybe the arrecond process has hung. Kill this process and it will automatically get restarted again by the armonitor process

After a few minutes check the reconciliation job run history again to if there are new entries every couple of minutes. If there are then the job is successfully running and the data BMC.IMPORT.ENTERPRISE data will get reconciled to BMC.ASSET.

This can be checked by doing another search on the Reconciliation ID. This time the search will return 2 results. One for the BMC.IMPORT.ENTERPRISE entry and one for the BMC.ASSET entry.
