    PROBLEM:

    MainView Infrastructure 6.0.00
    MainView Infrastructure 6.1.00

We received the following messages when we try to invoke the MAINVIEW CLIST:

    BBMZA096W CAS(BBCS) OLD MAINTENANCE LEVEL BPY9342 DETECTED
BBMZA096I CAS(BBCS) LAST START WAS FROM BPY9946 LEVEL
BBMZA102I SELECT A CAS THAT MATCHES YOUR CLIST RELEASE OR EXIT CLIST AND RETRY

    SOLUTION:

    Legacy ID:KA396304

In most cases, these messages indicate that the MAINVIEW CLIST you are using to invoke MainView online environment in ISPF is using an older version MainView BBLINK library. You can use the TSO ISRDDN command to check if the BBLINK in the TSO STEPLIB DD has an older version BBLINK which does not match the BBLINK library that the MainView CAS started task is using.

Another possibility is that the MAINVIEW online was connecting to a CAS, but later the CAS was restarted using a different version MainView libraries with the same SSID. In this case, you need to issue "QUIT DISC" command at the command line in any MainView online view to exit the MainView product and re-enter that MainView product so that the CAS connection will be re-established.
