    PROBLEM:

     

    Problems with ADDM UI with Internet Explorer on Windows Server 2012 R2
     

     


    SOLUTION:

    There have been some problems getting IE on Windows 2012 R2

    1) Appliance's login page does not render.

      

    To solve this, ensure the appliance was in IE's trusted site list:

    Internet Settings -> Security -> Trusted sites and added it to the sites list.

    2) Accessing the Pull-downs in some menus didn't work.

      

    This was fixed this by changing IE's Advanced -> Use software Rendering

      

    3) After opening the database credential test window, neither the Test nor Cancel buttons were functional

    No solution was found in IE to correct this. Instead Chrome browser was installed and used instead of IE.
