    PROBLEM:

     

    Getting below plugin error while running a reconciliation job in Server Group Environment :

    ARERR [8760] Cannot establish a network connection to the AR System Plug-In server : servername2 (9555) : RPC: Miscellaneous tli error - System error (Connection refused)

    Details:

    Server 1 was working fine & there were no plugin errors on that server.

    Server 2 - There were plugin errors while running Recon Job on second server. Reconciliation process was ranked 1 on 2nd Server. Found below errors on Server 2 in recon job logs :

    ARERR [8760] Cannot establish a network connection to the AR System Plug-In server : BMC.FILTERAPI.NORM.ENGINE

    ARERR [8760] Cannot establish a network connection to the AR System Plug-In server : servername2 (9555) : RPC: Miscellaneous tli error - System error (Connection refused)
     

     


    SOLUTION:

     

    The startup script Atriumplugin.sh & normeng.sh (in AtriumCore\cmdb\server\bin) had loadbalancer name, corrected it to server connect name.

    Following error was not observed .
    ARERR [8760] Cannot establish a network connection to the AR System Plug-In server : servername2 (9555) : RPC: Miscellaneous tli error - System error (Connection refused)

    and ARERR(8939) was observed on Re run of recon job,

    Added 127.0.0.1 server name FQDN entry in hosts file and we were able to run Reconciliation jobs without any plugin errors .
