Cloud Lifecycle Management
BladeLogic Application Server
BMC Cloud Lifecycle Management 4.6 or higher, TrueSight Server Automation 8.x or higher
When trying to login with BladeLogic Server Automation (BSA) Console, the following error is reported:
Incorrect database setting or configuration for BladeLogic Application Server
How to remediate:
1. Check Cloud Lifecycle Management (CLM) deployment (e.g.: %BladeLogic%\NSH\br\deployments\config_deployment_<server_hostname>\ to confirm that the database connection string is pointing to the correct Database Server.
How to check and verify the configuration:
blasadmin -s <config_deployment_<server_hostname>
show Database all

2. For any changes in Database Server, modify the configuration accordingly (e.g.: hostname, port, password and etc).
3. Restart BladeLogic Application Server process.
