    LP: BMC Remedy AR System Server 7.6.03
    DR: AR System Mid Tier 7.6.03

    Details: Our production mid-tier servers do not appear to be using their object caches. On the "Cache Settings" page of the "BMC Remedy Mid Tier - Configuration Tool" there are objects in the cache, with different object counts, but the hit and miss counts for every object is 0. How can we setup our mid-tier servers to use these caches?

    SOLUTION:

    Legacy ID:KA345435

    The cache statistics are disabled by default in ...\midtier\WEB-INF\classes\config.properties:

    arsystem.ehcache.enableStats=false

    Change it to true and save, then restart Tomcat and the stats will now show in the mid-tier config tool

    Details of the contents of cache can be found using the url:  http://localhost:8080/arsys/shared/config/config_cache.jsp
    Note:  localhost:8080 should be substituted with the appropriate mid-tier server name and port for your installation.
