ARERR [9341] No Preference Server or Configuration Home Page Server. Home Page needs a Server.

    PROBLEM:

     

    Users can connect from the User Tool but not through the Web (i.e. MidTier).  When a login attempt is made, ARERR [9341] No Preference Server or Configuration Home Page Server error is displayed

    SOLUTION:

      The Mid-tier needs a Home Server specified to display a Home Page. 
      
        
      
      1.  Launch the Mid-tier configuration tool 
      
      2.  On the General Settings panel, select an AR Server on the Home Page Server field. 
      
      3.  If there are no servers to select, then go to the AR Server Settings page and define an AR Server.    
    Then return to the General Settings panel and select the newly defined AR Server. 
      
      4.  Save the changes. 
      
        
      
      You should now be able to log into the AR Server via the Mid-tier client.
