    PROBLEM:

     

    BMC.REMEDY.ITSM.SOCIALEVENTMANAGER (ARERR 8755) when submitting Incidents

    LP: BMC Helix ITSM 20.13.01

    Error : The specified plug-in does not exist. : BMC.REMEDY.ITSM.SOCIALEVENTMANAGER (ARERR 8755)

     

     


    SOLUTION:

     

    Legacy ID:KA432800

    Cause 
    Missing Plugin entry BMC.REMEDY.ITSM.SOCIALEVENTMANAGER in ar.cfg and pluginsvr_config.xml 

    Solution 
    - Added the following entry in ar.cfg 
    Server-Plugin-Alias: BMC.REMEDY.ITSM.SOCIALEVENTMANAGER BMC.REMEDY.ITSM.SOCIALEVENTMANAGER onbmc-s:9999 
    - Added the plugin entry BMC.REMEDY.ITSM.SOCIALEVENTMANAGER in pluginsvr_config.xml
