Remedy AR System Server
BMC Remedy AR System 8.x, 9.x
All Email attachments received in Remedy are being converted to file a called "winmail.dat".
Please check below the reference of Microsoft as this has been known to be an issue with Microsoft Exchange:
As a solution, the email address (remedy incoming mailbox account) on the Exchange server needs to be set to never receive rich text format e-mails.
Once this setting is performed on the Mail Server level for remedy incoming mailbox, remedy email engine service needs to be restarted.
