Smart Reporting cross-launching from Smart IT does not work

    PROBLEM:

    In a multitenant environment with BMC Remedy ITSM version 9.0.00 or 9.0.01, after you install or upgrade to Smart IT 1.3.01, Smart Reporting cross-launching from Smart IT does not work.


    CAUSE:

    Defect SW00500298


    SOLUTION:

    Workaround:

       
    1. Copy the Smart Reporting web service client jar file from the Smart Reporting server:
      <Smart Reporting Installation HOME>\development\lib\yfws-yyyymmdd.jar

      To the Smart IT ux folder:
      <Smart IT Installation HOME>\ux\WEB-INF\lib
    2.  
    3. In the Smart IT ux folder, back up the existing jar file to a separate location:
      <Smart IT Installation HOME>\ux\WEB-INF\lib\yellofinws-7.1.jar
    4.  
    5. Rename the new jar file that you copied to the ux folder to yellofinws-7.1.jar.
      For example, rename 
      yfws-yyyymmdd.jar to yellofinws-7.1.jar.
    6.  
    7. Restart the Smart IT server.
