BMC Middleware Management - Administration: Objects missing from results of a Global Search

    PROBLEM:

    Running a Global Search, less objects than expected are being returned in the result set.


    CAUSE:

    The Global Search runs against the database, so the missing objects may not have been indexed yet.


    SOLUTION:

    Wait until the missing objects have been indexed.

    If the objects, which are missing from the search result, are fairly new, then most likely they have not yet been indexed. Each Connection maintains it's own indexing configuration, so it may take a while before the new objects are getting indexed. Consider setting a higher indexing interval.
