    SOLUTION:

Please check below and perform the following different procedures. If one does not help, check the next one.

    Procedure 1
    a) Download the installer and save it in any of the drives (eg c:\ or d:\) -Please try to unzip the installer folder.
    b) Make sure that you have the administrator rights to run the installer.
    c) Also make sure that there are no firewall issues for running the installer.
    d) Once you check the above settings and run the installation you will be able to install it successfully.

    Procedure 2
The installer does not use Install Anywhere Framework and is not affected by the IATEMPDIR system variable.
If the default %TEMP% directory has insufficient space, increase the available space or change its location.

    Procedure 3
Check if on this environment Symantec Endpoint Protection is installed.
If this is the case, after turning off Symantec Endpoint Protection's "File System Auto-Protect" feature, which can be found in the Virus and Spyware Protection section, will help the installer run as expected.
When "File System Auto-Protect" feature is enabled, it apparently interferes with the drive space check.
After Disabling :File System Auto-Protect feature (uncheck) the drive space check shows the correct values.

    Procedure 4
This one may already been checked and it is well known but just to be sure we don't miss anything.

    1. Is the version of java installed on the machine is supported?
    2. Was the Java installed before any remedy products are installed?

The ARS is a java based installer and as a pre-requisite we need to make sure that java is installed properly.
There might be a case that the java installation is corrupted, so try uninstalling java and reinstalling it.

    Procedure 5
    1. Temporarily modify User's TEMP and TMP path settings to path with folder names consisting of short names and run install.
         a) From the 'My Computer' icon on the desktop right mouse click and select 'Properties' => Advanced tab => Environment Variables button.
         b) At the top are the variables for the user. Hit the 'Edit' button for the 'TEMP' and 'TMP' variables and change them from '%USERPROFILE%\Local Settings\Temp' to a simple path like 'C:\Temp'.
Make sure the directory exists. It can be any name as long as each folder name is 8 characters or less and no spaces.

    2. Now go back and rerun the install. The installer should extract the binaries needed to the new temp directory. You should see files being created there as the install runs.

    3. Reset the TEMP and TMP variables back to their original values.
If setting the TMP and TEMP didn't solve the issue (could be because temp was in different location than where you wanted to install it) so you need to run the following.
Example: D: is the same disk/partition as where we would be trying to install the application (but this could be any other Drive/folder of your choosing) and then launch the installer from same shell.

    ......Example........
    Set TMPDIR=D:\tmp\
    Set IATEMPDIR=D:\tmp\
    Set TEMP=D:\tmp\
    Set TMP=D:\tmp\

    ...........................

After checking all the above steps run the installation with the admin user.
