Remedyforce Spring 11
There are several utilities available to access the data in your org. The suggestions below are provided as is and without warranty. BMC Support does not provide assistance accessing org data directly. Use these at your own risk.
1. Download and install Eclipse. http://www.eclipse.org/downloads/. Eclipse Classic 3.6.2 will allow you access the Remedyforce schema and run SQL like queries against the data.
2. Use the APEX data loader. Instructions to automate the Data Loader can be found at the following link: http://developer.force.com/codeshare/projectpage?id=a0630000005BBjnAAG
3. The attached word doc explains how to automate an integration with Remedyforce and Active Directory; the process can be applied to other integrations as well. How to Import from Active directory into Remedyforce.
4. A tool called Pentaho, available from the following link: http://sourceforge.net/projects/Pentaho/files/Data%20Integration/4.1.0-stable/pdi-ce-4.1.0-stable.zip/download. Pentaho can push and pull data into and out of Remedyforce and into and out of other systems. See the following links for additional information. http://wiki.Pentaho.com/display/EAI/.01+Introduction+to+Spoon and http://wiki.Pentaho.com/display/EAI/Spoon+User+Guide .
Until the release of the Integration Engine, the above suggestions while by no means canned, will help you get done what you need.
