    PROBLEM:

     

      How to Configure a Delegated Approver in Remedyforce?

     


    SOLUTION:

     

    Process is 2 steps: Assign the user the Change Manager Profile then make the user the Delegated Approver.

    Assign a user the Change Manager Profile:
    1. Log into Remedyforce as Admin| Go to Setup.
    2. Under Administration Setup Click Manage Users | Click Users.
    3. Click Edit by the user to be assigned the ServiceDesk Change Manager profile.
    4. Click the Profile drop down | Select Service Desk Change Manager | Click Save.

    Assigning a Delegated Approver:
    1. Log into Remedyforce as Admin| Go to Setup.
    2. Under Administration Setup Click Manage Users | Click Users.
    3. Click Edit by the user to be assigned a delegated approver.
    4. Scroll down to Approver Settings | Click the Lookup beside Delegated Approver.
    5. Select the desired user | Click Save.
