    PRODUCT:

Control-M/Server for UNIX and Microsoft Windows

    COMPONENT:

Control-M/Server for UNIX and Microsoft Windows

    APPLIES TO:

Control-M/Server for UNIX and Microsoft Windows 8.0.00 and above

    PROBLEM:

    Symptoms:
    - Control-M cyclic jobs will exceutes the last run on UNTIL Time prior to Control-M Server 8.0.00.
    - In Control-M Server 8.0.00 and later, cyclic job will not be submitted, if the submission time is scheduled on the UNTIL time.
    - For example,
When the Control-M cyclic job is schedule with FROM TIME = 06:30 and UNTIL TIME = 07:00 with a rerun every 15 minutes
Prior to Control-M Server 8.0.00, this cyclic job will run at 06:30, 06:45 and 07:00
With Control-M Server 8.0.00 and above, it only runs at 06:30, 06:45 and not at 07:00

    CAUSE:

CAR00050112 - Control-M/Server cyclic job, which has from time and until time, might not run its last minute (the until time minute).

    SOLUTION:

    Solution:

For Control-M/Server 8.0.00 follow below steps:

    - Increase 1 minute for the UNTIL TIME for all cyclic jobs
    - For example,
      Cyclic Job defined with:
      FROM TIME: 06:30
      UNTIL TIME: 07:01
      Interval: Every 15 minutes

Result: Cyclic job will be submit at 06:30 06:45 and 07:00

    For Control-M/Server 9.0.00 and above:

    - Add following line OLD_TIME_WINDOW_CHECK Y in $HOME/ctm_server/data/config.dat
    - Restart Control-M/Server
