Uninstall Smart Reporting Due To Faulty Installation

    PROBLEM:

     

       
    • Faulty installation of Smart Reporting needs product re-installation.

     


    CAUSE:

    Faulty installation of the product.


    SOLUTION:

     

     

      
       
    • The uninstaller is in the ARSystem installed directory.
    •  
    • You should find the uninstaller at the following location on your Smart Reporting server:
      
      Windows: Drive:\Program Files\BMC Software\ARSystem\UninstallBMCARSystem\uninstall.exe 
      

    Linux:  /opt/app/workload/arsystem/UninstallBMCARSystem/uninstall.bin

      
       
    • The uninstaller would not delete the database tables; however, database administrator should clean up the database.
      
       
    1. If used existing AR System database for Smart Reporting then delete tables and sequences from database which are mentioned in the attached document.
    2.  
    3. If using dedicated database for SR then delete the database manually.
