    PROBLEM:

     

       
    • Unable To Login To SAP BusinessObjects BI Platform (BMC Analytics). Error: 'Exception: The client clock skew is too big. (FWB 00023) '
    •  
    • The system is using SSO via Trusted Authentication
    •  
    • The error can be intermittent or consistent

     


    CAUSE:

    The trusted logon request times out if the clock skew between a client machine and the server is larger than the value set in the Trusted Authentication properties.


    SOLUTION:

     

       
    • Ensure that the client machine and server machine clocks are synchronized
    •  
    • Increase the time before trusted logon requests are timed out
    •  
    • Disable timeout of trusted logon requests by setting the timeout to 0
