    BMCNGL59269W *** WARNING: REGISTRY USAGE IS GREATER THAN 90%. %USED:100 ***

    This message is an indication that the NGL registry that is used to store archive information is getting full. If you have not specified the DOMPLEX to keep archives for a given time period, it is suggested you do that instead of this process. The NGL reconcile will remove entries from the ngl registry that are no longer cataloged. You may need to manually delete archives from the MVS catalog for this job to be effective. This is only available with NGL v10.2 and greator.

    The utility program, NGL9RCON, is a batch job. Sample JCL to run the utility:
    //NGL9RCON JOB ....
    //REPORT EXEC PGM=NGL9RCON,PARM='parameters'
    //STEPLIB DD DSN=ngl.dist.load,DISP=SHR
    //REGISTRY DD DISP=SHR,DSN=ngl.private.registry
    //REPORT DD SYSOUT=*

    The parameters for NGL9RCON control what registry entries are reconciled. The following table describes the available options and their function:
    Parameter Value Description
    PIID NGL PIID value PIID is used to obtain the registry information for a currently executing NGL instance. The PIID value should match the PIID value from the STARTAGENT PARMS information used to start NGL. PIID should be specified if the NGL agent is active. If the NGL agent is not active, PIID should be omitted and the target registry defined in a //REGISTRY DD statement
    DBCID DBC SSID value DBCID is used with the NGL PIID value to find the necessary NGL control block that will contain the registry token. DBCID is required when PIID= is used.
    LOGSET LOGSET name LOGSET will cause a reconcile to be performed for the specified LOGSET name. If LOGSET is omitted, all LOGSETs will be reconciled. The default is all LOGSETs.
    ARCHIVE Y or N ARCHIVE will control whether the archive data sets associated with a LOGSET will also be reconciled. ARCHIVE=N will skip the
    reconcile for the archive data sets. The default is ARCHIVE=N.
    DELETE Y or N DELETE controls the deleing of the NGL registry entry for the log file or archive data set name. DELETE=Y will remove the registry entry. DELETE=N will leave the registry entry. The default is DELETE=N.

    Sample Report
    The following sample report displays information for the LOGSET ARCLOG. The sample JCL to run the utility is:
    //NGL9RCON JOB ...
    //IRRT1 EXEC PGM=NGL9RCON,
    // PARM='PIID=NGLC,LOGSET=ARCLOG,DELETE=Y,ARCHIVE=Y'
    //STEPLIB DD DSN=BMCETH.NGL.LINKLIB,DISP=SHR
    //REPORT DD SYSOUT=
