During Bladelogic BladeLogic Server Automation (BSA) Console installataion, the following error is encountered:

"The BMC BladeLogic Server Automation Console requires at least 512 megabytes of physical memory. The installation cannot continue because only 0 of physical memory was detected "

The Target BSA console server has 16GB RAM or (specifications met for Physical memory as per requirement) and enough memory free.

This may happen during standalone console installation or as part of BMC CLM installation.

Symantec Endpoint Protection is running on the BSA Server or target machine where console is getting installed

    - Stop the Symantec Endpoint Protection (SEP) on the Target machine where issue is encountered
    - Restart the RSCD Agent on this server
    - From the Installer screen, hit previous and next which should get past the above error

Note: It has been found that stopping services like below resolves the issue and allow to install:
    -Symantec Endpoint Protection
    -McAfee Endpoint Encryption
    -Cisco AMP for Endpoints Connector

Note 2: This can also occur when there is a permissions issue accessing the specified temp dir.

    a) Create a temp directory in a location you know the user will have access to e.g. c:\install\temp
    b) Launch a cmd window as Administrator
    c) Type the following commands to set the various temp related env variables:

    set TEMP=c:\Install\Temp\
    set TMP=c:\Install\Temp\
    set TMPDIR=c:\Install\Temp\
    set IATEMPDIR=c:\Install\Temp\

    d) Run the BSA Console installer again from the cmd window. This will pick up and use the specified temp location.

If the above solution are not successful then one could try running the installer with the additional flag "-J SKIP_SYSTEM_MEMORY_CHECK=true".  So from a Windows command prompt run a command similar to:
    TSSA-Console-89-SP3-WIN64.exe -J SKIP_SYSTEM_MEMORY_CHECK=true
