Remedy - Atrium - Error: "Specified plugin does not exist ARERR 8755" related to BMC.ARDBC.ATRIUM.SERVICECONTEXT accessing to Remedy

    PROBLEM:

    As soon as any User Logs into Remedy, a pop-up errors appears with 

    "Specified plugin does not exist ARERR 8755"

    There's no indication of where the error is coming from.
     


    CAUSE:

    Atrium Plugin alias isn't in the ar.cfg/conf


    SOLUTION:

     


    The error is related to BMC.ARDBC.ATRIUM.SERVICECONTEXT and it appears when users are accessing to Remedy.

    The Filter logs show the following:
    .........................
    */ <Filter Level:0 Number Of Filters:10> Checking "SHR:LHP:InitSvc_GetServiceContextFlag" (0)
    > --> Passed -- perform actions
    > 0: Set Fields

    > **** Error while performing filter action: Error 8755

    Check the related Java Plugin Alias in the ar.cfg/ar.conf file to see if it's present of if it's commented out as observed in the example below:
