Remedy - Server - Unable to approve a request having a Read License and no Support Group

    PROBLEM:

    When trying to approve a Change Request with a user which just have Read license and no Support Group Role or functionality assigned can not approve the request.


    CAUSE:

    The problem is due to the tag entries of application are missing from arsystem.tag file.


    SOLUTION:

    Please check the following:

    - Open the arsystem.tag file which is located:
    Windows: ...\Program Files\Common Files\AR System\Licenses\<Server Name>
    Unix/Linux\etc\arsystem\<Server Name>


    Note: The arsystem.tag file directory structure MUST match with server name from the armonitor.cfg/armonitor.conf

    - This file contains all the required tags associated to the different applications.

    This consists of Key, Application and its Tags. These entries internally map to respective application tag and approves a request with Read License if the related tag entry is present.
    This file gets shipped with the installers.

    - If the current arsystem.tag file has any missing entries, it can be copied and pasted from a different file.
    Attached there are two file examples, a full working arsystem.tag file and a non working arsystem.tag file.

    - Which ever application is required to have a read license approval the respective tag will need to be present in the file.
