    All RSSO 9.x products, possible with ASSO products as well


    After running an upgrade of a Midtier to 9.1.03 (and potentially to which was configured with agent the RSSO login and received the following error in the browser screen on login:

    HTTP Status 500 - RSSO: No SSO service instance found
    type: Exception report
    message: RSSO: No SSO service instance found
    description: The server encountered an internal error that prevented it from fulfilling this request
    exception: RSSO: No SSO service instance found




    MidTier upgrade replaces web.xml with default template that does not have RSSO agent included.


    The default web.xml file that gets distributed with the Mid Tier hotfix does not contain the RSSO plugin details.

    Replace the web.xml with a working copy (see attachments) that contains the RSSO plugin details, then restart Mid Tier server and the issue will be resolved.
