    Problem #1
BMC Cloud End User Portal does not show the same information as the old BMC Cloud Legacy Service Console

    Problem #2
CPU and Memory Option Choices are displayed correctly on BMC Cloud Legacy Service Console, but it is not displayed on the new BMC Cloud End User Portal

This problem can occur if the elastic indexes used by the new BMC Cloud End User Portal are out of sync with BMC Cloud Legacy Service Console

    How to resolve:

Its possible to re-sync the indexes using a REST client. To sync all indexes open a REST client, login to the Platform Manager server via http POST call using the URL http://<pmserver>:<port>/csm/login and using following JSON body:

You can also refer to this part of the documentation on the detail on how to logging on to the API server.

Add the authentication token that is received to the header then make another HTTP POST call to http://<pmserver>:<port>/csm/index/syncall

This call will update all indexes.

NOTE: This could take a long while in a large environment.

It is possible to also sync the indexes for individual components like Servers and Service Offering Instances by making calls to the following URLs:

Please refer to the cloud API reference documentation to retrieve all the URLs available

Starting from BMC Cloud Lifecycle Management 4.5 (latest patch of 4.5.x), you can run Sync Index from BMC Cloud Administration Console.

    • Login to BMC Cloud Administration Console
    • Navigate to Workspace -> Configuration
    • Click on Sync Index button and wait for it to complete
    • Logout and login in the new Cloud Portal
NOTE: Before running   Sync Index from BMC Cloud Administration Console, you need to put the Cloud Environment in the maintenance mode. Running   Sync Index from BMC Cloud Administration Console  , it will be similar as executing CLM API (  /csm/index/syncall) and it is not possible to selective choose which object to be synced.

After running a successful Sync Index, if Option and Option Choices are still not be available in BMC Cloud End User Portal, follow this Knowledge Article   000078455 for troubleshooting information.
