In case you want to update the reporting database details, you can update the database details from the web.xml from the attribute below the mentioned sections :

available at C:\Program Files\BMC Software\ARSystem\SmartReporting\appserver\webapps\ROOT\WEB-INF\web.xml
After that restart the Smart Reporting server tomcat.
