    There is a Db-Connection-Retries parameter that can be manually added to the ar.cfg file (requires AR Server restart of services).

       

    The settting for this parameter is the Number of times the AR System server tries to reestablish a lost connection to the database. The default is 100.
    The server retries the connection once every 15 seconds up to the specified
    number of times.
    For example, when this option is set to 100, the server retries the
    connection once every 15 seconds for a duration of 25 minutes
