    1. Check for the existence if the following registry key "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\BMC Software". If it does not exist export it from one of the nodes that presently run the Agent

    2. On the new node create an empty file somewhere that is easy to access: create_agent.services.800.bat

    3. Add the following to the file and save  it:

    @echo on

    SET INSTALL_PATH=%1
    SET INSTALL_PATH=%INSTALL_PATH:"=%
    SET AGENT_NAME=%2

    sc.exe create "ctmfw_service_%AGENT_NAME%" binPath= "\"%INSTALL_PATH%\%AGENT_NAME%\Exe\ctmfw_service.exe\" service \"%AGENT_NAME%\"" type= own DisplayName= "Control-M/Agent FileWatcher %AGENT_NAME%"
    sc.exe create "ctmag_%AGENT_NAME%" binPath= "\"%INSTALL_PATH%\%AGENT_NAME%\Exe\p_ctmag.exe\" service \"%AGENT_NAME%\"" type= own DisplayName= "Control-M/Agent %AGENT_NAME%"

    4. Run cmd.exe by using the "Run as Administrator" option (right click)

    5. Run the new bat file to create services: create_agent.services.800.bat "[Path to Agent files without instance name]" [Instance name]

    For example if agent installed in S:\Program Files\BMC Software\Control-M Agent and agent instance is MyFirrstAgentOnCluster

    create_agent.services.800.bat "S:\Program Files\BMC Software\Control-M Agent" MyFirrstAgentOnCluster
