    QUESTION:

     
       How to change the profile of a normal user to a System Administrator in Remedyforce?  
       
       How to grant a normal SDoF user System administrator privileges?  


    ANSWER:

     

      Steps to change a user to System Administrator: 
      
      1. Login to Remedyforce as an Administrator  
    2. Select home  
    3. Select Setup  
    4. Select Manage users in Administration Setup  
    5. Select Users  
    6. Click on Edit of the User you want to make a system administrator  
    7. On the User License dropdown select Salesforce  
    8. On the Profile dropdown select ServiceDesk System Administrator.  
    9. Login to Remedyforce with the modified User and verify he has Admin rights now.   
     
     NOTE: The key is the User License type. Staff members use a Salesforce Platform license and an Administrator uses a Salesforce license.
