    How to see all DB2 Monitor traces that are started for a DB2 Subsystem using MainView for DB2.

    The DB2 command DIS TRACE (*) will show the traces started for a DB2 system, the output will show what IFCIDS are being collected.

    In MainView for DB2, to see the DB2 Monitor traces that are started, you can go to the STDB2D view. Press PF8 to the bottom and move the cursor to TRACES and press Enter.
    This will take you to the Journal Log and automatically issue you a -DIS Trace command which should look like this:

    The MainView for DB2 base code (MON (03)) tries to use the first OPx (DB2 Destination Buffer) available starting with OP1 and will go up to OP7. The Data Collector (MON (04)) tries to use OP7 first then goes downwards until it finds an available OPx destination.
