You need to understand the options you can have to secure communication between a BMTM agent and Config Manager?

Future versions offer additional security options which are not covered in this Knowledge Article.
1. Running a secured agent and enabled WebSphere MQ object security.
Without a secured agent actions and tasks run with Config Manager are issued under the user account which starts the qpcfg process. When running a secured agent, the agent requires that each Config Manager authenticate against a user account valid on the agent system. By enabling IBM WebSphere MQ Object Security permission can be set to specific IBM WebSphere MQ objects.
2. Message Encryption.
Message encryption is used to eliminate the potential security problems of transmitting sensitive messages in plain text. When the message encryption option is enabled, the browse and put commands send and put encrypted messages only.
More details on these 2 options can be found in the Security Reference documentation.
