    How to delete a node from the Management Console - the delete option is grayed out in Edit mode.
     


    ANSWER:

    You need to grant your group permission to delete nodes.

    Go to the Security Tab, find the group you are in (probably Management Console Administrators) and then select "Delete Physical Tree Nodes", save that change, log out and log back in and you should be able to remove the node.

    NOTE: if the agent is still running and pointing at the Topic service host, even if you delete the node, it will automatically repopulate in the Management Console.
