    Solution:
      

    Applies to version 8 only

      

    In the Management Console

      
       
    • Go to the Object Repository tab
    •  
    • Expand tree until you see the host that you want to remove
    •  
    • Right-click that hostname and select 'Delete Agent'
      

    After refreshing the tree or logging in again, the host should disappear from the Operations tree in the Management Console and the Configuration Manager tree.
