You have two options:
- use the Configuration Manager to change the hostnames to the new server set.
(choose the node, expand to Agent, right-click and select Monitoring, enter new TS hostname)
from a BMTM 7 agent directory (any one will do), use the AgentPref utility to change them from the command line:
To set the topic service hostname :
agentpref --host <AgentHostname) --port <QpeaPort> --set-agent RTServer_Hostname <TopicServiceHostname>
--host Hostname of the agent machine where QPEA is running (required unless specified in an eaapi.ini file or agent on same machine).
--port Port number for QPEA (optional, defaults to 2612 or as specified in an eaapi.ini file).
--set-agent RTServer_Hostname is the name of the new BMTM server set host (where the Topic service runs)
Both these procedures do a de-register/re-register procedure that just changing the eaa.xml manually WILL NOT DO - you have to use one of these tools to migrate the agents from server to server properly.
