Model Manufacturer Field in Remedyforce CMDB Base Element is Greyed Out

    QUESTION:

    Model Manufacturer Field in Remedyforce CMDB Base Element is Greyed Out


    ANSWER:

     

    Model manufacturer is a formula field who's value is generated at run time.  For Data to appear in the field the Manufacturer Name field must be populated.

    Update the Manufacturer Name:
    1. Login to Remedyforce as and Admin
    2. Click on Remedyforce CMDB tab
    3. Click on Base Element
    4. Open any Configuration Item
    5. Enter data in manufacturer name field
    6. Click Save
    7. Go to the Remedyforce CMDB open a Configuration Item and verify the data populates in Model Manufacturer field.
