    QUESTION:

    MainView for CICS 6.5.00

I'm using the Performance Reporter Language (PRL) to produce reports and I've found this problem: when several PRINT statements with continuation are used, only the first one appears on the report.

a- PRL statements used as Input:

      SET CASE = 'MIXED'
PRINT 'When several PRINT with continuation are used, only the'-
       'first one is printed'
PRINT 'This is the 2nd PRINT which is using continuation,'-
'and here is its 2nd part'
PRINT 'This is the 3rd PRINT which is using continuation,'-
'and here is its 2nd part'

    b- PRL Report printed:

When several PRINT with continuation are used, only the first one is printed

Is there a way to have all the PRINT statements horored?

As a circumvention, you can add another statement between each PRINT, a kind of 'dummy' statement. Here is an example:

      SET CASE = 'MIXED'
PRINT 'This is the 1st PRINT which is using continuation,'-
'and here is its 2nd part'
      SET L = 1
PRINT 'This is the 2nd PRINT which is using continuation,'-
'and here is its 2nd part'
      SET L = 1
PRINT 'This is the 3rd PRINT which is using continuation,'-
'and here is its 2nd part'
      SET L = 1
PRINT 'Thanks to the additional statement, nothing has disappeared!'

Using the above statements, you will have the following line printed on the RPL report:

This is the 1st PRINT which is using continuation, and here is its 2nd part
This is the 2nd PRINT which is using continuation, and here is its 2nd part
This is the 3nd PRINT which is using continuation, and here is its 2nd part
Thanks to the additional statement, nothing has disappeared!
