How to enable the TM ART kmadapter trace on the TM ART side:

    1. Open the Frontend Server configuration file "...\BMC TM ART Central 4.2\conf\bmc\frontendserver\SVFrontendBootConf.xml
    2. Search for the <KMLogLevel> tag, change the log level to 3 as below:
    <KMLogLevel>3</KMLogLevel>
    3. Restart the Frontend Server
The KMAdapter.log should be under C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\BMC\PM42\log. On Windows 2008 the log may be under C:\ProgramData\BMC\PM42\log

To enable the Pnet TM ART Adapter debug:

    1. Use the "Pw Commands" window.

    2.  Locate the the name of the TMART Adaptor, run the following command: (https://docs.bmc.com/docs/display/public/proactivenet96/pw+agent)

    pw agent list

This will list all the agents on the PNET system.  In that list, find the TMART Adaptor.
Then using that agent name, follow the below instructions

    3. Write the commands and replace the <Agent_name> with the name of the Adapter configured agent:
    pw debug on -a <Agent_name> -s TMARTAdaptor
    pw debug on -a <Agent_name> -s TMARTAdaptorDataCollector
    pw debug on -a <Agent_name> -s TMARTAdaptorAutoDiscovery

    4. Reproduce the issue - so it will be shown in the logs. (Makes sure there is a collection cycle of data from TM ART for one of your projects).
Allow enough time for two or three collection cycles. If the Adaptor is configured to 5 minutes
intervals and the Transaction in Central is configured to every 10 minutes - then 20 minutes will give use 2 collections of new data.
If the Adaptor is configured to 10 minutes intervals and the Transaction in Central is configured to every 5 minutes - then 20 minutes will give use 2 collections of new data.

    5. The logs are available in folder:
    ...\pw\pronto\logs\debug\

    ============================================================

    1) Send us the following logs:

    Agent.log
    TMARTAdaptor.log
    TMARTAdaptorDataCollector.log
    TMARTAdaptorAutoDiscovery.log

These log files should be in the following folder:
    ...\pw\pronto\logs\debug\

    2) If you think it might possibly be a PNet problem, ask for the following logs:
    ProactiveNet.log
    ProactiveNetAgent.log

These log files should be in the following folder:
    ...\pw\pronto\logs

    3) If you are using a ProactiveNet remote agent look for the logs here:
    C:\Program Files (x86)\ProactiveNet Agent\Agent\pronto\logs\ProactiveNetAgent.log
