    QUESTION:

When consuming a published AR System webservice in what format should a date/time value be passed to a AR System Date/Time field?

    ANSWER:

    Legacy ID:KA338639

For XSD datatype dateTime which is what we use for our AR System Date/Time fields the time stamp value must be passed from the client like this:

    2006-05-25T13:11:00-07:00

    So, this breaks down to:

    2006-05-25- current date.

T- says what follows is a time of day value

13:11:00- the current time in 24hr format

-07:00- the number of hours behind we're at from UTC time for Pacific Daylight Time. Adjust this value for your local timezone offset from UTC time.

Remember to account for Daylight Savings Time, for example if we pass -08:00 assuming Pacific Standard Time your time value in the AR System Date/Time field will be 1 hour off if currently Daylight Savings Time is in effect.

On AR system version 8.1.02.002 201702062319Hotfix the date format from XSD is not honored (based on defect SW00534702)

    Workaround :
    use
        'Modified Date' > "11/06/08 08:39:45"
    meaning "month/day/year Hour:minute:second-Timezone"
