Midtier/Jaws - User unable to select Tier 3 menu for Resolution Categories when using Jaws 16

    QUESTION:

    JAWs 16 doesn’t recognize there is a value in Tier 3 menu and it is not usable
    graphic should be recognizable like Tier 2

    Tier 3 graphic is not recognized by Jaws

    STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
    Incident form
    Click Resolve
    Show Resolution Categories


    ANSWER:

    We have a solution for the Resolution Categories menu issue. It turns out that JAWS is adding the "tabindex=-1" to the anchor tag, which is causing it not be able to tab to the Tier 3 menu.

    In JAWS settings, there is a setting called "Filter Consecutive Duplicate Links" (This setting is under "Web / HTML / PDFs" > "Links"). That is what causes JAWS to add the "tabindex-1". After I disabled that setting, I'm able to tab to the menu graphic for the Tier 3 menu correctly.

    Customer has confirmed this did resolve the issue with the Tier 3 Menu
