    QUESTION:

    How to link CI/Asset to Records on Change Request and Problem Objects in Remedyforce Console
     


    ANSWER:

    In the Change Request and Problem Objects we can link the CI/Asset to the Records as follows:

    1. Click on Record Details button | sections on Record Details page.
    2. Go to Linked Services | Configuration Items and Assets section
    3. Click on Select and Link to Change Request Button | select applicable CI/Asset to link to the record.
    4. Select CMDB Explorer from Agent Tools | view the Graphical view of relationship between CI/Asset and record.

    Note: "Configuration Item / Asset" Lookup field does not exist in Change Request / Problem objects however you can create a custom lookup field which points to the Base Element Object and add it to the layout.
