    QUESTION:

Starting in 9x when closing last Task related to WorkOrder, the WorkOrder is not Completing as it did in prior versions with normal user

    ANSWER:

This is as designed, not a defect.

This has altered in 9x where now if you are not part of the Manager or Assigned Support group of the WorkOrder you cannot modify it. It is a new security enhancement that was requested via several RFEs by our customers. This would also not allow the closing of the WO if the assignee of a Closing task was not a member of the WO assigned groups.

This is new workflow in 9x
