    QUESTION:

How do I globally change the colors indicating the priority level of MainView Alerts?

    ANSWER:

The ALERTS view presents detailed alert information sorted by the time the alert was generated. You can also display alert details sorted by other properties:
    - Select Ordered by Queue Name from EZALERT to display the ALERTSQ view.
    - Select Ordered by Priority from EZALERT to display the ALERTSP view.

In order to globally change the colors indicating the priority level of MainView Alerts, follow the steps below.

    1. Invoke the ALERTSP view and issue CUST.

    2. Issue T x where x is the column ID for "Alert Text" field (element ALREPATR) in ALERTSP view.
2-1. Change color attribute as you require.

    3. Then select the options for Save.
3-1. Replace 'View' in 'Threshold Location ==> ' field with 'Central'.

    4. PF3 out back to ALERTSP.

    5. From this point on, the changed color attribute will apply to the "Alert Text" (element ALREPATR) displayed in any MVALERT product view including ALERTS, ALERTSQ, and ALERTSP.

[cut and paste the following screenshots into Notepad in order to preserve the display attributes]
