    QUESTION:

    How to enable the Approval log and set the logging in DEBUG mode.

    Please follow below steps to activate the Approval Debug log:

    1- Go to > Applications panel > Quick Links > Approval Administration Console.

    2- Select Server Settings.

    3- Check the below settings:

    In the Basic tab under the Logging Settings:
       a- Enable Approval Debug Mode
       b- In the Log File Name enter the name for the approval log.
           Note: we need to enter also the full path and the log file name.
           For example: C:\Program Files\BMC Software\ARSystem\Arserver\Db\arapp.log
           If you only enter a log file name, it will be created under db folder where arerror.log/armonitor.log are located.
       c- For Approval Debug Type select: ALL
       d- Press Save

    The Approval log is now enabled and it will be available in the specified path under the log file name entered.

    Enabling the Approval log does not require the AR System to be restarted.
