    QUESTION:

    Steps to perform before reinstalling Atrium Web Services or installing multiple AWS servers.

    The Atrium Core installer does not allow the selection of the Atrium Web Services or Atrium Web Services Registry products.

    Clean-up steps post Atrium WSC failure assuming install directory is “/data1/bmc/AtriumCore”:
     

      
       
    1. Remove wsc folder /data1/bmc/AtriumCore
    2.  
    3. Open AtriumCoreInstalledConfiguration.xml file present at “/data1/bmc/AtriumCore” and remove following entries from there:

          <requiredDiskSpaceMap>
           <requiredDiskSpace id="default" size="200 MB"/>
            <requiredDiskSpace id="backup" size="0 bytes"/>
            <requiredDiskSpace id="temporary" size="0 bytes"/>
          </requiredDiskSpaceMap>
        </productFeature>
        <productFeature backupOnUpgrade="false" id="featureWSC_ServiceRegistry" independentOfChildren="false" rebootRequiredOnInstall="false" rebootRequiredOnUninstall="true" rebootRequiredOnUpgrade="false" requiredDiskSpaceMode="default" state="INSTALLED" visible="true">

    1. Ensure following entry in xml file doesn’t contain any value:

        </property>
       
       
    1. Stop tomcat and go to  “hosting\configs\tomcat7\atrium-dev1-01\webapps” 
    2.  
    3. Remove following folders/files from there:     
           
      1. atriumws81
      2.    
      3. cmdbws
      4.    
      5. uddi
      6.    
      7. BMCGetJREVersion
      8.    
      9. BMCGetJREVersion.war 
      10.   
    4.  
    5. Remove following line from ““/hosting/configs/tomcat7/atrium-dev1-01/conf/server.xml”<Connector SSLEnabled="true" clientAuth="false" keyAlias="bmcatriumwsserverssl" keystoreFile="/remedy/AtriumCore/wsc/atriumws81/keystores/bmcatriumwsserverssl.jks" keystorePass="atrium" maxThreads="150" port="20115" protocol="HTTP/1.1" scheme="https" secure="true" sslProtocol="TLS"/>
       
       
    1. Login to AR server using Midtier and open SHARE:Application_Properties form.
    2.  
    3. Search for entries related to Application ID “WS00C04FA081BAmpfqSAR7F41At1sB” and “WS00C04FA081BAGJfqSAn7d21ApFsB” and delete them
    4.  
    5. Start the installation.
