    Question:

    From the Control-M User Guide for Control-M Server Version 7.0.00 and Version 8.0.00, it is stated that in Periodic Calendar, no single period can exceed 255 days.

    Does Control-M Server able to support Periodic Calendars that contain more than 255 days for a single period?

    Answer:

      

    Single Period in the Periodic Calendar exceeding 255 days is supported after installing the following Fix Pack:

      

    - Control-M Server Version 7.0.00 Fix Pack 4

      

    - Control-M Server Version 8.0.00 Fix Pack 1

      

     

      

    Additional information:

      

    The following CAR is fixed in Control-M Server V7 Fix Pack 4 and Control-M Server V8 Fix Pack 4:

      

    CAR00037609  - Jobs defined with Days D*P <period identity> are scheduled to run only on the first 255 days of a period.

    After installing the above mentioned Fix Pack, the numbers of days changed from 255 to unlimited.
